"The Floor", 2003 I had heard about some comics people on the west coast working on a project that had something to do with minimalist comics. I tried to think of a minimalist subject and the first thing that came to my mind was an image of the floor of my old family home. This image became, not exactly a minimalist story, but just a story about a floor. I don't know why I called it a domestic fable. It's not a fable... as some wise-ass at the Roasterie was quick to point out to me. Oh well. That's what I get for hanging around coffee shops full of intellectuals, weirdos, and intellectual weirdos. |
